Tri County Heating and Air Conditioning of Oneida, Inc. was opened in Oneida, NY in 1985 serving Madison, Oneida and Herkimer counties. Tri County moved to its present location at 9 Tannery Lane in Vernon in 1990 to be more centrally located in the counties we serve.

The business was recently purchased by two of the original employees, Charles & Shelley Sgroi and their son Charlie Sgroi. We will continue to be a family owned business that focuses on quality service and installation.

We install and service natural gas, LP gas and oil heating systems, air conditioning, and refrigeration units for both residential and commercial customers. We are also experienced in the installation of radiant in-floor heating systems. 24-Hour Service is available on all brands of heating and cooling equipment.

A few of our top brands include Ruud or Amana furnaces and air conditioners, as well as Fugitsu, Gree ductless mini-splits. We also have available Bosch, Utica, Laars, and Buderus Boilers (fueled by either gas or oil). Thermopride, AIRE-Temp, and Williamson Oil Furnaces also available.

Ruud is very customer oriented and happens to be our top brand! A Ten-year parts warranty is also offered.

Some of our commercial installations include Verona Healthcare Center, Oneida Savings Bank, the dormitories at Herkimer County Community College, Radisson Hotel rooftops, United Methodist Church of Fayetteville, Upstate Bone and Joint, as well as numerous new home installations, change-outs, and new constructions with many local contractors. Our latest commercial job is at Madison County ARC.

Here at Tri County, we pride ourselves with working with small, local contractors. This includes one in the Oneida area, which we have done over 500 homes with!

Residential installation is our specialty and we strive for customer satisfaction. We enjoy offering quality service to our customers, no matter what time of day!
